Since 2019 I have been forging and making knives. I create pieces of art that are intended to be used and enjoyed.

Our Mission

I am committed to completing the best Damascus blades based on quality and function. I am fully dedicated to growing as a blacksmith and bladesmith. As I still serve in the Alaska Air National Guard, my mission is to always get better and meet or exceed the expectations of all customers. I use almost every one of my scheduled days off to making hand forged and handmade knives. My mission today is the same that it has been for decades, as I still serve as a veteran. I have adopted the military mantra of being humble, approachable, and credible. I will continue to learn from those that have come before me and learn from the ones that will follow.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but the mastery of it.
— Mark Twain

BASIS OF THE KNIVES

I use a mixture of hand forging and stock removing from Damascus billets. I intend to provide the best quality work that I can. I am not in the business of quantity. I am in the business of quality.

The Damascus (pattern welded steel) that I use is all forged out of 1084/15N20. I find this to be a comfortable yet very durable combination as I grow. I also love to use 80CRV2. This steel is very strong and has great edge retention. If I use different steels or processes, it will be stated in the description. As I grow I will introduce other steels to my business.
